The Gateway Community and Technical College Student Government Association (SGA) is an organization for the students, by the students. The SGA is a collective representative body of elected students. We defend, argue, and fight for what is right and beneficial to all. The SGA has one person in mind: You, the student. Together, we can make Gateway a better place to be for anyone and everyone.

SGA Purpose & Goal
It is the goal of the Student Government Association to acquire and enhance the learning environment at Gateway Community and Technical College. The SGA strives to create a safe, comfortable atmosphere where students are encouraged and challenged to succeed in their studies.

The SGA is a group of elected students that are driven to represent the student body with honor and pride. Tasks will be undertaken and completed with swift, appropriate action.

Our mission is to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for each and every student at Gateway Community and Technical College. The SGA will promote, enhance, and justify a more successful learning objective in the community college arena.
