Gateway Completion Options


Gateway Completion Options Students may select from a variety of completion options:

• Certificate—Certificate programs have exit points that do not have the same requirements of a diploma or degree. Students who successfully complete the courses for a specific job title and meet all other college requirements will be awarded a certificate.

• Diploma—Students shall be awarded a technical college diploma when they meet college admission requirements; meet the exit requirements for the diploma program; successfully completed the college curriculum; and passed the approved exit examination.

• Degree—A degree program prepares students for technical employment within an appropriate two-year period and consists of a minimum of 65 credit hours.
