Gateway Community and Technical College’s Library and Information Services will be the leader in proactively providing information literacy education, thereby transforming the college community into an information literate institution.

Mission Statement

Gateway Community and Technical College’s Library and Information Services, as an innovative hybrid library, provides the college community with:

• Print and electronic resources
• On-site and virtual reference service
• Access to the Gateway Community and Technical College collection, as well as the library resources of contractual partners

thereby ensuring that the college community obtains and uses information that enhances learning. Furthermore, the Library provides information literacy education to the college community using state-of-the-art information technologies.
