Gateway Library and Information Services is committed to providing students in all educational programs with convenient and effective access to those bibliographic resources necessary to promote the highest quality of educational experience. We accomplish this by combining on-campus electronic resources and a core body of reference materials with off-campus access to collections at Northern Kentucky University and Thomas More College through formal collaboration agreements. In addition to the print and electronic materials, we are committed to providing at each campus professional staff who can offer instruction, guidance and general assistance in mastering the various forms of information which are available.
The primary mission of the Gateway Library and Information Services is to support the Edgewood, Covington, Boone, Highland Heights, and Park Hills campuses and their respective programs. The Library and Information Services is a hybrid institution providing access to digital and print information, and fostering life-long learning skills essential for the college community to succeed in the information rich environment of the 21st century. The Library has embraced new information technologies and cooperative relationships with Northern Kentucky University, Thomas More College, and the SouthWest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries in order to serve its students, faculty, and staff in the most efficient way possible.
