Programs and Services

Planning for multiple uses now and later

With partnerships in place and a site selected, we are using community input to develop more detailed plans for the Urban Campus. The Urban Campus location and space offers many exciting expansion opportunities.

Full implementation depends on the region’s community and workforce needs, adequate funding, and adequate and increased operating funds to support existing programs and add new ones. Funding for the Urban campus will require creativity, partnership and innovation. The nature of and number of facilities needed will be based on community needs and the programs and services required to meet those needs. The college is committed to using its own resources through reallocation of funds and personnel. In addition the college’s Foundation is seeking private funds to support the development and operation of the campus. Adequate funding for construction and new operating funds will largely be dependent on capital funding approved by the Kentucky General Assembly and Governor.

Plans for the Urban Campus are in a developmental stage. We continue to meet with business leaders, civic and government leaders, and school officials to further refine and identify the programs and services best suited to students at the Urban Campus. Feel free to contact us with your ideas. We want to hear them.
