Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in America’s higher education system with more than 2 million members and 1,200 chapters located in all 50 states, as well as U.S. territories, the British Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, the United Arab Emirates and Palau. PTK’s innovative programs and services and its many membership benefits are unequaled among honor societies. Co-curricular programs focus upon the scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. It is estimated that 200,000 students participate in Phi Theta Kappa programs each year.

To be eligible for membership in our Beta Pi Tau chapter, you must have completed 12 semester hours of associate degree course work at Gateway, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and adhere to Gateway's Student Code of Conduct.
