International Students

If you are a non-resident alien and/or are on a temporary United States visa, you would be considered an international applicant. If you have questions about the international application process, please contact the International Student Advisor, Linda Cornell, at 1-859-442-1123.

International applicants must submit the following information before the international student deadline:

• An international application for admission.
• Copies of your current visa and immigration documents if you are currently inside of the United States;
• Official scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); or an official transcript showing grades of A or B in English 101 and 102 (or equivalents) at an accredited American college; or a college in another country where English is the native language;
• A current financial or bank statement in English from the applicant's bank showing that the applicant has the necessary funds for the school year; and
• An official document in English which verifies the applicant's completion of the secondary level of education.

Spring 2012: October 3, 2011

Fall 2012: June 1, 2012

TOEFL Information

The score from the TOEFL exam must be at least 500 paper-based, 173 computer-based, or 61 internet-based and the results must not be more than 18 months old at the time of initial enrollment.
