Earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services and Counseling and a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College and take your classes at Gateway.

Lindsey Wilson Degrees to be offered:

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services and Counseling will be offered every August at Gateway and a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling every January.
  • Classes are primarily conducted in a weekend format, (Friday 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. and
    Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.). 
  • All classes are taught via live instruction.
  • All classes will be offered at Gateway Community and Technical College. 
  • Guaranteed graduation time line: Bachelor’s Degree in 18 months. 
  • Financial aid is available. 
  • Reduced fees for community campus students.
  • Transfer Agreement in place for KCTCS students.

Bachelor’s Degree Admission Requirements:

  • At least sixty (60) credit hours earned from an accredited institution. 
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.0.

Graduation Requirements:

  • Successful completion of 72 hours from KCTCS affiliated school or other university.
  • Successful acquisition of Full General Education Certification from KCTCS affiliate, or completion of Lindsey Wilson College General Education Requirements. 
  • Successful completion (C or better) in the following areas: Math, English, Social Sciences {Developmental Psychology and General Psychology}, Sciences). 
  • Successful completion of Religious Studies Course while enrolled in KCTCS affiliate classes. 
  • Successfully maintaining a 2.25 (C or better in all LWC courses).
