Do you keep a cool head in a crisis? Are you interested in saving lives? If you answered yes to those questions, you may be interested in a career in paramedic technology. Paramedics provide pre-hospital emergency care to acutely ill or injured patients. Program graduates are eligible to take the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) National Registry Examination upon completion. The program also meets the standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation National Standard Training and KCTCS-Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services (KBEMS). Program enrollment is limited, and students are required to be a certified EMT prior to entering paramedic program coursework.
