Should you find an item is available at Northern Kentucky University’s Steely Library, you may request to check out the item and have it sent to the Gateway campus of your choice.
Directions on how to request and NKU item
Borrowers are held accountable to the lending library’s guidelines, policies and loan periods. For additional information about services provided by NKU for Gateway students, faculty and staff, visit http://steelylibrary.nku.edu/visitors/gateway.html.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is provided to Gateway Community and Technical College faculty, staff, and students via Northern Kentucky University for any item not available at either institution.
Request for Book or Audiovisual
Before submitting an interlibrary loan request for an item, first search all Gateway databases and the NKU Library Catalog, to see whether it is available through either location. If it is an item available at NKU you may request to have it sent to the Gateway campus of your choice rather than submit an interlibrary loan request.
Request for Journal or Magazine Article
Before submitting an interlibrary loan request for a journal or magazine article, you must first search Gateway’s Electronic Journals to see if we already have a full-text version available.
Submit an Interlibrary Loan to NKU.
