HybridThis course is a hybrid course; 50% of the meetings and proctored exams will take place in the classroom, and 50% of meetings and instruction will take place on-line. It will be necessary for students to use the website to complete homework assignments, take practice quizzes, and communicate with the instructor and fellow class members. Students will need to follow the course schedule (syllabus) to see what days are scheduled for required on-campus class sessions. You will see the note, Hybrid Course (50% in person/50% online) when reading this course in Gateway’s schedule of classes. Web-EnhancedStudents must physically attend all scheduled classes on a Gateway campus, but additional components will be posted on the course website for students to access outside of class time. The instructor “enhances” the class by having students go on-line for various parts of the class such as discussion, quizzes, lecture notes, etc. Your instructor will state in the course syllabus, his/her policy for using web-enhancement in his/her class. ALL GATEWAY classes listed in the schedule are technology capable of being Web-Enhanced. It is the instructor’s preference as to how they choose to teach any particular class. |
