Owners of existing businesses and industries will have an opportunity to learn how to streamline their
business operations and increase productivity and profitability. The hands-on workshop on the “Lean for Office” program will focus on the principles of Lean manufacturing, a systematic approach
to increasing efficiency by shortening time between customer orders and factory shipment. Workshop
participants will work in a simulated office with several intensive production rounds, learning and
experiencing the effects of Lean principles being incorporated into the office environment. Participants
will learn how Lean continuous improvement techniques can be applied to the office environment to
reduce process time and errors and improve on-time performance.
