This course is the next step for those who have the right combination of education, training, and experience
as determined by the International Association of Administrative Professionals. Studying for and attaining
certification gives the extra edge of knowledge needed to succeed in today's business world. This course will
cover Parts I, II and III of the CPS examination, which are mandatory for CPS certification.

HVAC Journeyman and Masters Preparatory Course
This course is a 45 contact hour program designed to prepare HVAC technicians to successfully complete the
Kentucky licensing exams. Course topics will also include current code information. The participants will
have access to practice exams and will be assisted by Gateway’s Director of Testing and Assessment in
review of the testing process including registration.
Successful completion of this course does not guarantee that participant will pass the exam.
This course will prepare participants who are currently working in the plumbing field for the Kentucky
state licensing examination. This course will meet for 36 contact hours and works within the college’s partnership
with the Office of Housing, Buildings and Construction, Division of Plumbing.
